Mr. Galipeau is the current Vice-Chairman and CEO of Nuinsco Resources Limited and Victory Nickel Inc. He has been a Director of Nuinsco since 1993. A seasoned mining executive with 35 years experience, Mr. Galipeau has held senior positions with a number of gold and base metal mining companies in Canada and the United States, most recently as Executive Vice-President and CFO for Breakwater Resources Ltd.
Mr. Galipeau serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Victory Nickel, Inc. He served as the Chief Financial Officer at Nuinsco Resources Ltd. from April 7, 2004 to June 14, 2006 and its Acting Chief Financial Officer until June 2008. He served as the Chief Financial Officer at Yukon Gold Corp Inc. from May 11, 2005 to November 17, 2005. He served as Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of HMZ Metals Inc. from September 13, 2004 to February 27, 2006.
Mr. Galipeau served as a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Biogan International Inc. He served as a Manager for Taxation of Rio Algom Mines Ltd. from 1972 to 1974. He also served as an Assistant Manager, Taxation, Manager, Taxation, Controller, Vice President for Finance, Canadian Metals Division, of Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co. Ltd. from 1974 to 1981.
Mr. Galipeau also served as a Director of Taxation and Corporate Development of Little Long Lac Gold Mines Ltd. (LAC Minerals) from 1981 to 1982. He served as a Vice President of Trading and Corporate Development of Inspiration Resources Inc. from 1982 to 1985. Mr. Galipeau served as Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Belmoral Mines Ltd. from 1985 to 1990, Deak Resources Ltd. from 1990 to 1993 and Black Hawk Mining Inc. from 1993 to 1995.
He has been the Chairman of KWG Resources Inc. since May 2010. He served as the Non-Executive Chairman of Nuinsco Resources Ltd. from March 12, 2003 to June 14, 2006. Mr. Galipeau has been Vice Chairman of Nuinsco Resources Ltd. since June 14, 2006. He has been Vice Chairman and Director of Victory Nickel, Inc. since January 2009. He previously served as the Vice Chairman of Victory Nickel, Inc. until October 9, 2008.
He has been a Director of Nuinsco Resources Ltd. since June 1993, Wallbridge Mining Co. Ltd. since August 14, 2006 and KWG Resources Inc. since March 30, 2010. He serves as a Director of Auramet Trading LLC and Fletcher Nickel Inc. He served as Director of Oracle Mining Corp (also known as Gold Hawk Resources, Inc.) from August 29, 2008 to November 4, 2009.
