Renault fires CEO Thierry Bolloré

Paris, France - Renault board of directors decided to end the mandate of Thierry Bolloré as chief executive officer of Renault SA and President of Renault s.a.s. as of now.

Thierry Bolloré is a member of the Groupe Renault Executive Committee, he also sits on the AvtoVAZ Board of Directors, on the DRAC (Dong Feng Renault Automotive Company) Board of Directors and on the RBJAC (Renault Brilliance Jinbei Automotive Co.) Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors also decided to appoint Clotilde Delbos as chief executive officer of Renault SA for an interim period, until a process is completed to appoint a new chief executive officer.

Ms. Delbos is graduated from EM Lyon.

Ms. Delbos began her career in California, then at Price Waterhouse in Paris before joining the Pechiney Group in 1992.

Ms. Delbos held various positions in France and in Brussels in Internal Audit, Treasury and Mergers and Acquisitions to then become Division Financial Director (Bauxite Alumina and International Trade).

After Pechiney’s acquisition by Alcan, she served as Vice President and Business Finance Director of the Engineered Products Division from 2005 up until it was sold in 2011 to Apollo Global Management (Private Equity Fund) and the Fonds Stratégique d’Investissement.

In the new company, Constellium, Ms. Delbos' last two positions were Deputy CFO and Chief Risk Officer.

Ms. Delbos joined Groupe Renault in 2012 as Group Controller. On May 1, 2014, she was appointed Alliance Global Director, Control, in addition to her current role as Senior Vice President, Groupe Renault Controller.

On April 25, 2016, Ms. Delbos is appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Groupe Renault.

She also became Chairman of the Board of Directors of RCI Banque.

On April 1, 2019, Ms. Delbos, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Groupe Renault and Chairman of the Board of Directors of RCI Banque, takes over the responsibility of Internal Control on top of her current role.
