Brussels, Belgium - RHJ International, a financial services group, announces that Konstantin Graf von Schweinitz will replace D. Ronald Daniel as chairman, effective from the Company’s AGM on 18 June 2014.

Mr. Graf von Schweinitz was appointed as a director of RHJI in June 2011, is an independent non-executive director of Kleinwort Benson Bank Limited, as well as Chairman of its Audit Committee and member of its Strategic Risk Committee.
Mr. Graf von Schweinitz has more than 25 years of investment banking experience, principally in capital markets and risk management. Until March 2007, he spent 19 years at Kleinwort Benson/Dresdner Bank. He worked in various roles including derivatives trading, hedge fund management and as COO of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein UK, before becoming Chief Risk Officer of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Head of Risk Management Investment Banking.
He was also the Deputy Chairman of Dresdner Group’s Credit Committee, a member of Dresdner Group’s Capital Committee and a member of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein’s Executive Committee. Prior to 1988, he headed the European Swap Group at the Chase Manhattan Bank.
Since 2007, Mr. Graf von Schweinitz has been acting as an advisor on numerous risk and investment-related assignments for hedge funds, banks and private equity companies. He is a partner of DII Capital, a financial advisory firm based in London. He is also a trustee of the Institute for Cancer Research and chairs the investment committee. He holds a BA and MA from Oxford University.
RHJI also announces that Timothy C. Collins tendered his resignation to the board on 3 April 2014, effective from 3 May 2014.
A director with RHJI since the company’s formation in June 2004, Mr. Collins is Chairman of the Investment and Strategy Committee of RHJI, a position he has held since January 2009. Mr. Collins was co-Chief Executive Officer of RHJI from May 2007 (when Mr. Fischer joined the company) until December of 2008. He was RHJI’s Chief Executive Officer from its formation in June 2004 until May 2007.
A director of Citigroup Inc. since July 2009, Mr. Collins also founded Ripplewood Holdings LLC in 1995 and served as its Senior Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer until its investment activities were merged with those of RHJI on October 15, 2010. He now serves as a consultant to the Company. From 1990 to 1995, Mr. Collins managed the New York office of Onex Corporation, a Toronto-based holding company engaged in acquiring companies in a variety of industries. Previously, Mr. Collins held positions at Lazard Freres & Company, Booz, Allen & Hamilton and Cummins Engine Company.
Mr. Collins is a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of the New York State Common Retirement Fund and is involved in several other not-for-profit and public sector activities, including the Trilateral Commission, Yale Divinity School Advisory Board, Yale School of Organization and Management Board of Advisors, the Board of Overseers of the Weill Cornell Medical College and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Collins is also a Member of the board of the Tony Blair Foundation.
He has a B.A. in Philosophy from DePauw University and an M.B.A. from Yale University’s School of Organization and Management. ■
