Minneapolis, Mn., USA - December 30, 2010, Minneapolis, Mn., USA - Wireless Ronin Technologies, Inc., a digital signage provider, announced that it has promoted Scott W. Koller to serve as president and chief executive officer, effective January 1, 2011.

Mr. Koller has served as Wireless Ronin's President and Chief Executive Officer since January 1, 2011. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer since May 2010. Prior to that he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from March 2009 to May 2010. Mr. Koller held executive level roles within the company leading sales, marketing and project management strategy since joining in November of 2004.
Prior to Wireless Ronin Mr. Koller gained extensive experience managing large scale technology rollouts in his position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Rollouts, Inc. from 2003 to 2004. From 1998 to 2003 Mr. Koller served in various roles with Walchem Corporation including serving as Vice President of Sale and Marketing. Mr. Koller served in the U.S. Naval Nuclear Power Program from 1985 to 1992.
In April 2010, James C. Granger advised the Company of his intention to retire as Chief Executive Officer and as a director, effective December 31, 2010.
The Company also announced that Stephen F. Birke would take the position of Chairman of the Board, effective January 1, 2011.
Mr. Birke joined the board of directors in July 2008. Mr. Birke serves as the Wireless Ronin Chairman of the board of directors effective January 1, 2011. Mr. Birke also serves as Chairman of the Compensation Committee. He retired in May 2008 after 38 years with Target Corporation most recently as Vice President and General Merchandise Manager.
Mr. Birke also serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Bell Museum – University of Minnesota. He served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Wireless Ronin Technologies from September 2008 to January 2009. Mr. Birke is currently President and CEO of Lawrence Merchandising, a merchandising service organization (MSO). ■
