Simon Rollason steps down as chairman of Edenville Energy

London, United Kingdom - March 5, 2013, London, United Kingdom - Edenville Energy, a coal exploration and development company, announced that Simon Rollason has stepped down as chairman but will remain a non-executive director.

Mr. Rollason has gained 20 years international experience working in both mining and geological exploration. During this time, he has worked in Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and the Far East with both multi-nationals and junior resources companies. He is the Managing Director of Obtala Resources Plc, and was appointed to the Board of the Company three and a half years ago.

Mr. Rollason graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa in 1990 with a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Geology. He is a Fellow of the Geological Society and a member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, the Society of Economic Geologists and the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration.

The company also announced that Sally Schofield, a current Non-Executive Director, will assume the Chairperson's position on a permanent basis.

Ms. Schofield's career has seen her work in commercial, technical and operational capacities in Kazakhstan, Albania, Central America, Brazil and Chile. She gained early exposure to the technical, corporate and investor relations functions of the mining business before crossing sectors to work with RMC, now part of CEMEX.
