Mr. Lundgren has been Chief Executive Officer and President at Black & Decker India Private Limited.
Mr. Lundgren has been the Chief Executive Officer of Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. (Formerly Stanley Works) since March 1, 2004 and its President since March 2010.
He served as President of European Consumer Products at Georgia-Pacific LLC from January 2001 to February 2004.
From 1997 to January 2001, he served as President of European Consumer Products for Fort James Corporation and served as President of European Consumer Products at James River Corporation from 1995 to 1997.
Mr. Lundgren served as Chairman of Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. from March 1, 2004 to March 12, 2010 and has been its Director since March 2004.
Mr. Lundgren has been a Director of Stanley Works since March 1, 2004 and Callaway Golf Co. since March 05, 2009.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM).
Mr. Lundgren is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received his MBA from Stanford University.
Nolan D. Archibald will retire as Executive Chairman of the Board and as an executive of the Company.
Mr. Archibald will not stand for reelection as a Director of the Company at its April 16, 2013 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
Mr. Archibald joined Black & Decker as President and Chief Operating Officer in September 1985.
He served as CEO for Black & Decker for twenty-four years before orchestrating the sale of the company to The Stanley Works Corporation in 2009.
Mr. Archibald is a recipient of the American Marketing Association’s Edison Achievement Award for significant and lasting contributions to marketing excellence and product innovation.
He has been cited by Business Week as one of the top six managers in the United States and by Fortune as one of the country’s "ten most wanted" executives.
He serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Lockheed Martin Corporation, Huntsman Corporation and Brunswick Corporation and is a member of the President’s Leadership Council at Brigham Young University.
Past Board memberships include: ITT Corporation, the Johns Hopkins University Board of Trustees, and Board of Directors of the Associates, Harvard Business School.
Separately, the Board of Directors announced that James M. Loree, formerly Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer, has been elected to serve as President and Chief Operating Officer, effective January 13, 2013. ■
