Bonn, Germany - The Postbank Group and Wolfgang Klein have agreed that Mr. Klein will step down as Chairman of the Management Board, effective June 30. Mr. Stefan Jütte will succeed Mr. Klein.

Mr. Jutte is educated at University of Göttingen.
He started his career at Stadtsparkasse Hildesheim, and after that he joined Nord LB, Hannover, where he hold the position of an investment officer and was promoted to the positions of increasing responsibilites.
In 2000 Mr. Jutte became a member of the management board of Deutsche Postbank AG, Bonn.
Mr. Jutte is a member of supervisory boards of PB Firmenkunden AG, Bonn, Betriebs-Center für Banken AG, Frankfurt, and BVVG Bodenverwertungs- und -verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, Berlin.
Mr. Jutte is also a member of the board of directors of PB (USA) Holdings Inc., Wilmington, and PB Capital Corp., Wilmington, and he also serves as a member of the administrative board of Deutsche Postbank International S.A., Luxemburg.
Mr. Klein studied Business Administration at Witten / Herdecke University, where he earned Bachelor in Economics, he also sstudied at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles U.S.A. where he earned MBA and Ph. D. degrees.
Mr. Klein worked at McKinsey & Comp. Inc in Düsseldorf where he was a member of the Financial Institutions Group, and at Dresdner Bank AG Frankfurt as a manager of the Basic Principles Division and later as an Authorized General Representative of Subsidiary.
After that, Mr. Klein served as an acting member of the management board of Deutscher Sparkassen-und Giroverband e.V. in Berlin and in 2001 he joined Deutsche Postbank AG, Bonn where he was named chairman of the board of management of Postbank Finanzberatung AG in 2006.
In 2007 Mr. Klein was promoted to chairman of the board of management of Deutsche Postbank AG, Bonn.
Mr. Klein is chairman of the supervisory board of Betriebs-Center für Banken AG, Frankfurt, Postbank Filialvertrieb AG Bonn, and Comma Soft AG, Bonn.
Dirk Berensmann, COO and hence member of the Management Board, and the Postbank Supervisory Board have reached best mutual agreement for the termination of Mr. Berensmann's office with effect from midnight on 29 May 2009. ■
