Charlotte, N.C., USA - September 28, 2012, Charlotte, N.C., USA - Swisher Hygiene Inc., a provider of essential hygiene and sanitation products and services, announced that it has accepted the resignation of SVP and CFO Brian Krass, which he tendered on September 21, 2012.

Mr. Krass has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since June 2012. Mr. Krass has more than 17 years of finance and accounting experience in both public and private companies. Prior to joining Swisher Hygiene, he served as Vice President, Global CFO and Corporate Treasurer from 2009 to 2011 for ACN Inc., a private telecommunications and consumer goods company operating in 23 countries.
Before becoming Global CFO, Mr. Krass also held positions at ACN from 2008 to 2009 as Vice President of North America Finance and Global Director of Internal Audit. Prior to ACN, Mr. Krass spent six years at Metaldyne Corporation, an automotive supplier of engine, chassis and driveline products, from 2003 to 2008, where he held a range of positions including Global Director of Internal Audit and Director of Sarbanes Oxley.
Prior to 2003, he held finance and accounting positions at GKN Sinter Metals, Guardian Industries Corporation, Dana Corporation and General Motors. Mr. Krass received a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration in Troy, Michigan.
Swisher Hygiene also announced that its Board of Directors appointed William T. Nanovsky to serve as Interim Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Swisher Hygiene, effective September 24, 2012.
Mr. Nanovsky has more than 25 years of experience as a financial executive in environments ranging from emerging growth entities to public companies. Since September 2011, he has been a founding Partner of The SCA Group, LLC ("SCA"), which provides C-level services including regulatory solutions, restructuring and interim management to their clients.
Before SCA, from May 1998 to September 2011, Mr. Nanovsky was a Partner of Tatum, LLC, and served on Tatum's Board of Managers from 2003 through 2007. ■
