Mississauga, ON, Canada - October 7, 2009, Mississauga, ON, Canada - Synergex Corporation, a software company, announced the appointments of Peter Chung, Brian Goard and Gordon Mitchell to the Company's senior management team.

Peter Chung has been appointed as the Vice President of Finance to lead the Company's finance and treasury operations, Brian Goard was appointed as the Company's Vice President of Global Operations, and Gordon Mitchell was appointed as the Vice President of Ditan/Synergex Canada Inc., and the General Manager of Hyperactive Entertainment Inc. ("Hyperactive"), both are wholly owned subsidiaries of Synergex.
Mr. Chung served as Chief Financial Officer of Ingram Micro Canada, a large, worldwide distributor and third party logistics service provider specializing in the technology industry. He participated in financial management at various international locations with a focus on increasing visibility of financial results, building profitability into processes, improving risk management, and budgeting.
Mr. Chung also managed financial aspects of a large private buyout fund, and participated in strategy, investment risk management, mergers and acquisition activities, commercial financing, and taxation. Mr. Chung is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and is a graduate of the University of Toronto.
Mr. Goard served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Mother Parkers Tea and Coffee Inc. where he led the company to be one of the premier producers and marketers of private label and branded coffee, tea and related products in the North American retail and food service markets. He was responsible for all functional areas of the business including manufacturing, supply chain management, marketing, sales, finance, information technology, and human resources.
Mr. Goard also brings over 21 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer of H.J Heinz Company of Canada and Treasurer of Goodyear Canada. Mr. Goard is a certified management accountant, a fellow of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada and a graduate of McMaster University.
Mr. Mitchell was the Director of Sales for Atari, Inc. for the past 10 years and was responsible for the Canadian, USA, and Latin American territories. He effectively placed and marketed numerous AAA video game releases in Canada and managed marketing costs. In Latin America, Mr. Mitchell built strong relationships with retailers making Atari one of the first third-party publishers to support customers on a direct basis. Mr. Mitchell was responsible for facilitating the development of the sales, marketing, press, distribution, and finance processes in Latin America. ■
