Platteville, Co. USA - January 27, 2014, Platteville, Co. USA - Synergy Resources Corporation, an oil and gas company, announced that William E. Scaff, Jr. has taken on the title of co-chief executive officer which he will share with Ed Holloway.

Mr. Scaff will remain Treasurer and both of them will remain Directors of the Company. Mr. Scaff has been an officer and director since September 2008 and was later named director of company's predecessor. Between 1980 and 1990, he oversaw financial and credit transactions for Dresser Industries.
Immediately after serving as a regional manager with TOTAL Petroleum between 1990 and 1997, he co-founded and co-managed, Petroleum Management. In 2001, Mr. Scaff co-founded and co-managed Petroleum Exploration and Management, LLC.
He holds a degree in Finance from the University of Colorado.
Mr. Holloway has been an officer and director since September 2008 and was an officer and director of company's predecessor between June 2008 and September 2008. He co-founded Cache Exploration Inc. In 1987, he sold the assets of Cache Exploration to LYCO Energy Corporation.
He rebuilt Cache Exploration and sold the entire company to Southwest Production a decade later.
In 1997, Mr. Holloway co-founded and co-managed Petroleum Management, LLC, and Petroleum Exploration and Management, LLC.
He holds a degree in Business Finance from the University of Northern Colorado and is a past president of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association.
The company also announced that Craig Rasmuson has been elevated from Vice President of Operations to Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Rasmuson joined Synergy in September 2008. His duties vary from overseeing the daily drilling and completion operations to organizing all field operations. He also coordinates all state and municipal permitting and represents the company in various capacities such as City and Town Council meetings and landowner leasing and surface use execution.
He has worked in the DJ Basin since 2006 and prior to joining Synergy he worked with DCP Midstream and PDC Energy. ■
