Teachers' appoints managing director for EMEA

Toronto, ON, Canada - December 3, 2014, Toronto, ON, Canada - The Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan announced that Jo Taylor has been appointed managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and head of the London office.

Mr. Taylor has extensive experience in the investment industry, including more than 20 years with 3i Group Plc, an international private equity and infrastructure investor, where he was the Head of Venture, Member of Group Management and Investment Committees, and CEO of US Investment Subsidiaries.

Mr. Taylor is a member of Teachers' Investment Committee, TPC's Investment Committee, Investment Division Investment Committee and is an active member of all asset-class committees operating in the region. He is also a non-executive Director at ISS, Helly Hansen, and Burton's Biscuits.
