Calgary, AB, Canada - July 1, 2014, Calgary, AB, Canada - Teras Resources, a mineral exploration company, announced that it has appointed Gorden Glenn to its board of directors.

Mr. Glenn has more than 25 years of mining, exploration and capital markets experience. He received his BScH in geological sciences from Queen's University in 1988. Following that he spent nine years in industry as a project geologist with Inmet Mining and Kennecott Canada.
Between 1997 and 2004 Mr. Glenn was a mining equity analyst at various financial institutions including GMP Securities and RBC Capital Markets covering small and large capitalization precious and base metal mining companies.
In 2005 Mr. Glenn joined TD Securities' investment banking team where he was instrumental in re-establishing the mining investment banking team as vice-president and director. Then he was the managing director of mining investment banking for Desjardins Securities.
Following a career in investment banking advising North American and international mining and metals companies on debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategy and restructurings, Mr. Glenn returned to industry as a corporate director, consultant and senior executive.
Mr. Glenn is currently chairman, president and chief executive officer of Minnova Corp. (formerly Aurgica Gold Corp.). He currently sits on the boards of Entree Gold Inc., Geodex Minerals Ltd., Source Exploration Corp. and Aurora Gold Corp.
The company also announced that Jim Hutch has resigned as a director of the company and joined its advisory board.
Prior to joining Teras' board, Mr. Hutch served on the Board of Directors of Goldcorp. In this capacity, he was Lead Director, Chaired the Independent Directors Committee, Chaired the Health, Safety, and Environment Committee, and participated in the Special Committees that successfully fought off a hostile takeover bid by Glamis Gold and successfully completed the acquisition of Wheaton River Minerals.
After retiring from his 12 year career as leader at the Saskatchewan Research Council Mr. Hutch has been, and continues to be, involved in the development of enterprises involving entrepreneurs, innovation and technology commercialization. He serves in leading positions in professional engineering organizations, advisory boards, and boards of directors. He is active in national, provincial and local affairs. ■
