Textron names Frank Connor chief financial officer

Providence, R.I., USA - July 29, 2009, Providence, R.I., USA - Textron Inc., a multi-industry company, announced that Frank T. Connor has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective August 1.




Mr. Connor earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. He will be based at Textron’s world headquarters in Providence, RI.

Mr. Connor is a 22-year veteran of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where, most recently, he was managing director and head of Telecom Investment Banking.

Prior to that, he served as Goldman, Sachs & Co.'s chief operating officer of Telecom, Technology and Media Investment Banking.

During his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co., Mr. Connor advised companies across a wide range of industries and executed numerous public and private financings and strategic transactions.
