Tharawat appoints Nader Al-Khalili as CIO

Nader Al-Khalili holds an MBA from University of Strathclyde, UK, he also holds both a Mechanical Engineering Bachelors and an Architectural Engineering Diploma from University of Bahrain, furthermore he is currently undergoing professional certification from Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) to become a Certified Sharia'a Advisor and Auditor. Al-Khalili joins Tharawat with 10-years experience in banking, investments and industrial sector.
During the years, he assumed several executive positions in leading firms including the Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), BDO Jawad Habib and International Investment Bank (IIB). Nader Al-Khalili started his professional career at Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) where he worked for 5 years as a projects engineer, supervising several development projects and heading a full team of engineers, technicians and specialists to look after production units. ■
