Timothy Utama chief operations and technology officer at Singapore Exchange

Singapore - September 21, 2012, Singapore - Singapore Exchange announced the appointment of Timothy Utama as its chief operations and technology officer, effective December 1, 2012.

Prior to SGX, Mr. Utama was on the Executive Board of Directors of PT Bank Permata Tbk, a bank in Indonesia majority owned by Astra International and Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to that, Mr. Utama was the Head of Wholesale Banking Operations of the Global Shared Services Centre of Standard Chartered Bank based in India. In a career spanning more than 15 years with Standard Chartered, he held various senior positions in Service Excellence, Banking Operations, Relationship Management, Trade Services and Process Improvement.
