Houghton, South Africa - May 14, 2013, Houghton, South Africa - Village Main Reef, a mining company, announced a number of changes at the executive management level.

Marius Saaiman, currently the joint chief executive officer, will take up the position of managing director of the Village platinum asset. He will remain an executive director of Village, but will no longer be the joint chief executive officer.
Mr. Saaiman was previously the CFO of Simmer and Jack, and he was also acting CEO of Simmers. Prior to his involvement at Simmers, he was responsible for coverage of the resource sector as well as advising on M&A within this sector at Macquarie. He previously held positions as an Investment Advisor at African Global Capital and as the head of the Corporate Finance and Treasury at Kumba Iron Ore. Before this, he was vice president in the Corporate Finance Department at Anglo American plc.
Mr. Saaiman studied BCom majoring in accounts and audits at the Rand Afrikaans University, followed by the completion of an Honours degree in BCom. He concluded his Chartered Institute of Management Accountants final exam and is PAAB CA(SA) registered and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
Dalubuhle Ncube, currently the chief operating officer of Village, will assume the role of managing director of the Village antimony operations. He will remain an executive director of Village but will no longer be the chief operating officer of Village.
Mr. Ncube’s experience has mainly been in South African gold mining including operational exposure to shaft pillar and remnant mining at the former Harmony Orkney Operations where he started his career. He later rose through the ranks and was moved to various operations within the Harmony Group, in the Free State and lastly in Randfontein.
Mr. Ncube then later moved to join To The Point Growth Specialists as a Technical Analyst. He was appointed an Executive Director of Village Main Reef and is an Associate of both the SAIMM and the AMMSA.
Ferdi Dippenaar, currently a non-executive director of Village, has been appointed as the managing director of Village's gold assets. ■
