Violin Memory's operating chief departs

Santa Clara, Ca., USA – Violin Memory, Inc., a vendor of flash memory - January 3, 2014, Santa Clara, Ca., USA – Violin Memory, Inc., a vendor of flash memory-based storage hardware, announced that Dixon R. Doll, Jr. stepped down from his position as chief operating officer and a member of the board.



Mr. Doll has also notified the Board that he will step down from his Board position effective January 2, 2014, as well.

Mr. Doll was previously employed as Senior VP-Sales & Corporate Development by Canvas Technologies, Inc., Vice President-Corporate Development by New Era of Networks, Inc., a Manager-Business Development by Oracle Corp., and Vice President-Corporate Development by Recourse Technologies, Inc. He also served on the board at Secure Elements, Inc. He is on the Board of Directors at BizzBlizz, Inc. and Dixon & Carol Doll Family Trust.
