Wescorp Energy adds Jos De Smedt to the board

Calgary, AB, Canada - June 10, 2010, Calgary, AB, Canada - Wescorp Energy, a clean water solutions company, announced that Jos De Smedt has been appointed to the board.

Mr. De Smedt, a successful and accomplished professional, has more than 25 years’ experience in the finance/accounting/auditing and management consulting industry.

Mr. De Smedt spent the majority of his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Brussels, Belgium, and Montreal/Calgary, Canada, with senior responsibilities for major audit engagements and financial due diligence assignments.

Mr. De Smedt became a partner in 1998 and transitioned into the consulting practice of PwC, which in 2002 was sold to IBM Canada, where he took responsibility for major financial reengineering and financial system implementation projects.

In 2008, De Smedt joined CanAm Coal Corp, a Canadian publicly traded coal development company based in Calgary, Alberta, as the Chief Financial Officer and is also the CFO of CanAm’s US joint venture company, RAC Mining LLC.
