Mr. Dafoe has been the Chief Executive Officer of Ember Resources Inc., since July 2005 and has been its President since September 2008. Mr. Dafoe has more than 25 years industry experience in positions of increasing responsibility with public and private oil and gas companies in Western Canada.
Prior to joining Ember, Mr. Dafoe served as the Chief Executive Officer of Thunder Energy Inc. Mr. Dafoe has been the Chief Executive Officer of Ember Resources Inc., since July 2005 and has been its President since September 2008. Mr. Dafoe has more than 25 years industry experience in positions of increasing responsibility with public and private oil and gas companies in Western Canada.
Prior to joining Ember, Mr. Dafoe served as the Chief Executive Officer of Thunder Energy Inc. (now Sword Energy Inc.) from 1996 to July 2005 and President from October 1995 to July 2005, which he co-founded. After spending several years with accounting firms, Mr. Dafoe joined Husky Oil Ltd., where he served as Manager of Business Planning and Economics and later, Business Manager of the Asset Rationalization division. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Prodeco Oil & gas ltd.
Mr. Dafoe has been Non Executive Chairman of the Board of Sword Energy Inc. since July 2005. He served as Executive Chairman of Ember Resources Inc., from July 2005 to September 2008. He has been a Director of Sword Energy Inc. since October 17, 1995 and Cequence Energy Ltd. since December 17, 2009. He has been a Director of Cyries Energy Inc. since May 25, 2004 and serves as its Lead Director. He serves as an Independent Director of NAL Petroleum (ACE) Ltd.
Mr. Dafoe has been an Executive Director of Ember Resources Inc., since June 2005. Mr. Dafoe serves as a Director of two TSX-listed oil companies. He served as a Director of Cypress Energy Inc. He served as a Director of Cequel Energy Inc. He served as a Director of Daylight Resources Trust from October 15, 2001 to March 30, 2004. Mr. Dafoe is a Member of the Board of Governors for the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers. ■
