Poultry exports from Ukraine to EU resumed

The Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine said that poultry exports from Ukraine to countries of EU have been resumed.

This is due to mutual recognition of regionalization principle between Ukraine and EU as it relates to avian influenza.

MHP will now resume exports of poultry meat to the EU market in line with its 2017 plans and strategy.

Supplies of Ukrainian agricultural products to Qatar were significantly increased during the last year.

Ukraine is ready to establish a regular supply of agricultural, food and other products and expand the nomenclature for exports.

Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Kutovyi held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Ukraine HE Dr. Rashid Al-Hammad Advani.

"The potential for cooperation between our countries is huge. I think in the near future we will implement it, "- Kutovyi stressed during the meeting.

Thus, the head of Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine briefed the Ambassador on the key indicators of agricultural development in Ukraine, informed about the interest of the Ukrainian side in establishing a regular supply of agricultural, food and other products to Kuwait and in extension of nomenclature of exports of Ukrainian agricultural products with higher added value.
