In the first working week of August, a sample of dairy products processed cheese was received by the testing laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Amur Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor" as part of the state work.

The sample was taken by a state inspector of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Amur Region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
In the course of the work carried out, it was established that the incoming sample did not meet the standards for fatty acid composition (FAC). Sterols were also found in the cheese sample.
It is worth noting that during this year the laboratory specialists have already detected violations of FA in dairy products 5 times, the detection of sterols was recorded in 2 cases. Cheese, milk, sour cream and ice cream did not meet the quality indicators.
Dairy products must be natural. "On the safety of milk and dairy products" does not allow the use of non dairy fats in production. They can only be used in milk containing products.
Changing the natural composition by adding undeclared and sometimes hazardous ingredients is the most common way dairy products are adulterated.
Counterfeit dairy products cause all kinds of allergic reactions, the frequent use of such products subsequently leads to obesity, and cardiovascular diseases are possible.
Of particular harm is that the falsified product has completely different organoleptic properties (taste, smell, appearance) than milk fat, therefore, in order to give the fake product the necessary organoleptic properties so that the replacement is less noticeable to the consumer, unscrupulous manufacturers widely use various flavors, consistency stabilizers and thickeners, other components that, according to Russian requirements, are not allowed in natural dairy products.
Therefore, counterfeit products are often perceived as tastier.
The research results were submitted to the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Amur Region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Employees of the supervisory authority posted information about non-compliance of products with all the necessary materials in the early warning system of the FSIS "Cyrano". ■
