Bank of France sees better growth pickup in Q4 2016

French economic growth will likely accelerate in the fourth quarter from the third, a survey from the Bank of France showed.

Gross domestic product will rise 0.4% in the fourth quarter from the third, according to the Bank of France's business activity survey in December.

The second-largest eurozone economy grew by 0.2% in the third quarter.

Business sentiment in manufacturing inched up to 102 in December from 101 a month earlier, while the reading in construction was unchanged at 100 and business sentiment in services fell to 99 from 100.
