Lithuania industrial production drops in July

Lithuania's industrial production decreased in July from a year ago, figures from Statistics Lithuania showed.

Industrial production fell a working-day-adjusted 0.7 percent year-over-year in July. On an unadjusted basis, output dipped by 3.8 percent.

Production in the utility sector plunged 7.5 percent annually in July and manufacturing output dropped by 0.2 percent. Meanwhile, mining and quarrying output grew by 2.7 percent.

On a monthly basis, industrial production climbed a seasonally and working-day-adjusted 1.2 percent in July.
