Embraer 170/190 aircraft accumulated more than 5 million hours flown under high utilization and harsh environments. The Lineage 1000E, the largest aircraft in Embraer Executive Jets' fleet, is recognized as one of the top contenders for the best ultra-large executive jet. With the Skyacht One, an exclusive version of its Lineage 1000E flagship, Embraer Executive Jets has teamed with SottoDesign Studios to develop an ultra-custom interior design theme.
After taking delivery of a green Lineage 1000E, the proud owner of the future Skyacht One aircraft will collaborate closely with Sotto Design Studios to personalize the aircraft down to the most exquisite interior and exterior. Much of the inspiration for the Skyacht One is a custom commission yacht called the Thunderbird built by master boat builder John Hacker in 1939 for George Wittell. Wittell wanted a powerboat for use at his Lake Tahoe home that matched his polished Douglas DC2.
The Lineage 1000E features an ultra-large cockpit designed with focus on ergonomics and pilot interface. Standard avionics meet all requirements for global operations, optional avionics is available to further enhance pilots' and aircraft's efficiency, and we should add to that reliability proven by more than 5 million hours of flight time on the Lineage 1000E and E-Jets' airframes. There is no doubt that Skyacht offers luxury and functionality to the pilots at the level reserved for the owner.
Now, a bit of technical data. The Lineage 1000E features fly-by-wire flight controls, range is 4,600 nm (8,519 km), mmo (Maximum Operating Mach) is Mach 0.82, it is cruising blue skies at 472 kt (874 km/h), maximum operating altitude is 41,000 ft (12,497 m), and landing distance is 2,450 ft (747 m). Maximum takeoff weight is 120,152 lb (54,500 kg), and Maximum payload is 9,414 lb (4,270 kg). All that means that the Lineage 1000E can access restrictive airports such as London City.
Inside this flying yachts there are five cabin zones with hundreds of possible layouts, there is a master suite with a queen-size bed and a walk-in shower, and dining room, office desk, and lounge areas are available. The largest inflight accessible baggage compartment in executive aviation measures 323 ft3 (9.1 m3), and, of course, there is an extensive selection of material finishes to meet your taste. Equally important, there are amenities for inflight productivity: high-speed data connection, inflight phone, and printer. ■
