This year we visited together 135 places. There were different cities, countries, restaurants, beautiful history buildings, and sport spots around the world.

Section "Places to go, or no-no†as a small touristic operator from week to week tried to find destinations that deserve your attention. As any job can be performed on many ways we decided that that section must have few characteristic: to be informative, critical if it's necessary, and funny.
We believe that we managed to realise a lot of our plan mostly thanks to our budget that allowed us to buy very quality big map and, of course, thanks to the internet where you can find a lot of fudges, but also a lot of intelligent things and information.
Thanks to the internet we was also informed about this year's World Travel Awards winners. So, let's see how 167.000 touristic professionals around the world voted this year. They had a responsible job to choose between over 3600 companies from 137 states around the world.
In category World Top the winner of the title of World's Leading Business Class is Qatar Airways, World's Leading Business Hotel is Pan Pacific Singapore, World's Leading Business Travel Agency is Carlson Wagonlit Travel, and the title of World's Leading Business Car Rental Company went to Avis.
The title of World's Leading All-Suite Hotel expectedly goes to Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the title of World's Leading Beach came in hands of Grace Bay Beach (Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands), World's Leading Boutique Hotel for 2008 is Saxon Boutique Hotel & Spa, South Africa, World's Leading Design Hotel is Adam & Eve at Belek in Turkey, and World's Leading Casino Resort is Genting Highland Resort in Malaysia.
World's Leading Cruise Line is Royal Caribbean International and the title of World's Leading First Class goes in the hands of Etihad Airways. World's Leading Financial District Hotel is The Westin Beijing, China, while Casa de Campo in Dominican Republic won the title of World's Leading Golf Resort. This year's winner of award for World's Leading Airport Hotel is Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur Airport in Malaysia.
Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi won the title of World's Leading Conference Hotel and the city of Dubai won flattery title of World's Leading Destination. Those are just some of this year's winners. The list is long and we will try to visit some of them in the next months.
Starting with the next year this website will see some changes. Under every new article you will find an article we wrote one year ago on the particular date. The second news is that the section will also see some changes. Besides the regular articles, you will be able to read events announcements once a month.
Anyway, be prepared for life's surprises, be prepared on good and bad, but most of all be prepared to travel with us next year. Because, you know, we have the map and we're not afraid to use it. ■
