During the 17th and 18th centuries Barbados was an important military base, which the British used to protect their interests in the southern Caribbean. Today Barbados is an island with the world's extraordinary collection of English iron cannon from 17th century. Even cannons are mostly British; there are also pieces from Denmark, Sweden and Spain army. Visit them daily. The museum is five minutes drive from Bridgetown.

If Barbados is an island for a James Bond type of man, island of Arruba is gentler. I found on the internet that the name means "loves her husband". I have some doubts about that translation... Maybe somebody make jokes with me. However, let's go back to work. In butterfly farm near Oranjestad you can see hundreds of exotic butterflies from across the globe and learn all about the butterfly's evolution. After you spend marvellous day with that little gentle creatures, you can jump to the gift shop with butterflies and buy one on a pin in nice glass box. Horrible! Did I say "a gentle island"?

If you find yourself in Stockholm these days and feel frozen, visit the highest point in town - the Observatory Hill. If you are looking for some warm place let Stockholm Observatory Museum be your choice. Museum is run by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and you can be sure that your tour will be among the most interesting tours you ever had. Just chose the subject: astronomy, meteorology or geography. Yes, I almost forgot: If you just drop in, the tour will be in Swedish. So, learn Swedish or call in advance; in that case the lecturing will be in English. Välkommen! Ha!

If you can, visit one of Andorra's most modern resorts, Pas de la Casa. Since 1990, the most spectacular and glamorous event start there. France premier car ice-racing series stages its third race of the season at Pas de la Casa. If you miss first two this one you must see. The ice track is prepared in advance, but weather conditions are erratic and nobody can count on perfect ice. To spectators, condition of ice track is not an imperative, it is important to see a good race. The Andros Trophy is real spectacle. Thus, stretch your legs to Pas de la Casa and enjoy the race.
