The fashion fair at Munich's Dahmit Park Forum opens with the spring/summer collection for menswear (9-11 July) with top designers such as Aigner, Burberry London, Calvin Klein, Cerruti 1881 and Fabio Ferretti. Next on schedule is womens wear (12-15 August) with Karl Lagerfield, Nina Ricci and Palatino.

The Chicago Tribune hosts the annual Magnificent Mile Art Festival. Pioneer Court becomes an outdoor art gallery for three days and more than 200 sculptors, painters, potters, glass-workers, jewellers and photographers display their work to the public.
All exhibiting artists are required to be at the festival for the entire weekend, giving you opportunity to meet the creators, ask questions about techniques, and learn the sources of their inspirations. All proceeds, collected from purchasing fine works of art at affordable prices, go to the newspaper's Children's Fund.
All of the work on display is available for purchase, and with prices ranging from $15 earrings to $50 prints to $20,000 sculptures, there is always something for everyone.

Grab your chance to tour the 12th-century Cistercian monastery on the beautiful island of Hovedoya Island. Founded by English monks in 1147, it sits on an impressive rocky coastline and is open to visitors at weekends. Order of Cistercians, otherwise White Monks (from the colour of the habit, over which a black scapular or apron is sometimes worn) is a Roman Catholic order of enclosed monks.
key of Cistercian life is returning to the rules of Saint Benedict. The most important part of the reform was the return to manual labor, and field-work became a special characteristic of Cistercian life.

Every July, in the coolness of the Municipal Garden, the "Travelling Club" of Rethymno organizes the Cretan Wine Festival each summer. A rich program including traditional Cretan and Greek folklore music groups. That illustrates the Greek way of entertainment every evening to the large number of local and foreign visitors. Wine is abundantly consumed since it is free. The visitor will find choices of wine from the largest wine producing companies of Crete, and has the opportunity to try almost all the flavours and varieties of the famous Cretan wines.

River Zrmanja (40 km from town Zadar) those who knows well call "Beauty and The Beast". Because of sea which is in the neighborhood, the river is suitable for the rafting through all year. When Zrmanja is up and wildly, this is the best rafting in this part of Europe. The river Zrmanja is hard V, and waves are huge and awe. But, when weather is fine you will enjoy in riding on beautiful peaceful river and great nature that take breath away.
If you aren't lover of adrenalin and vet clothes, don't quit the adventure. On Zrmanja you can trekking, explore the canyons of mountain Paklenica, play paint-ball or even try your archery skills.
If it's still not enough adventures for your opinion, we have some more aces in our pocket. You can go on the north and visit National park Plitvice and Cerovac caves. If you are more south type, good choice. You will enter in beautiful town Zadar and in this route you will see pride of Croatian coast, Kornati islands. Town Zadar have one attraction you mustn't miss - sea organ! On the west you can climb on mountain Velebit and also visit National park Paklenica. The east is reserved for National park Krka and town Sibenik. With adrenalin or not, this way or another, you are more than welcome! ■
