Agreements were signed on the development of tourism infrastructure between the corporation "Tourism.RF" and the regions of the Central, Siberian and Far Eastern districts.

In the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, agreements on the development of tourism infrastructure were signed between the Turizm.RF corporation and the regions of the Central, Siberian and Far Eastern districts.
Nine more regions of Russia have joined the work on the national project "Tourism and the hospitality industry": Altai, Trans-Baikal and Kamchatka Territories, Kemerovo, Kursk, Pskov, Samara and Ulyanovsk Regions, as well as the Chuvash Republic.
“We are taking another significant step towards achieving national goals. Joint work with the regions allows us to create high-quality and affordable travel services for our citizens, opens up new travel directions for them.
"And most importantly, it meets both economic and social objectives. In 27 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, 50 tourism infrastructure projects will be implemented in the near future. We will create about 30 thousand new hotel rooms.The projects will create an additional 20 thousand new jobs in different parts of our country, â€stressed Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that the tourism industry has a multiplier effect and provides great growth potential for local businesses.
To realize this potential, the state provides for support of private investors, opportunities for co-financing projects are included in the investment program of the corporation "Tourism.RF".
Sergey Sukhanov, General Director of Tourism.RF, spoke about the work on it: “The formation of the priority investment program for 2021–2022 is coming to an end. We considered 385 investment proposals, of which 50 were selected the most promising, for most of them positive investment conclusions have already been received. And this is just the beginning of our joint work. It is necessary to analyze the tourist areas, form the concept of their development, carry out the design, start construction and complete it on time." ■
