BenQ T850 is very slim and nice digital camera with 8-mega-pixel CCD. But the most interesting part is its intuitive touch-screen.

BenQ presented its new digital camera for which the company claims its "the world's slimmest 8-mega-pixel digital camera" and with dimensions of 91.0 x 59 x 16.9 (14.9 at the slimmest point) it may well stands true. As we are used to in the section, at the beginning a bit of technical data.
BenQ T850 has CCD with 8 Mega Pixels which can give a picture resolution of 3264x2448 pixels, all the way down to poor 640*480. Optical zoom goes to 3x, digital up to 5x, and focus ranges if 40 cm to infinity with macro option 15 cm to 40 cm. You can take pictures of objects that moves very fast (shutter speed 1/2000 sec), and you will the picture with 230 000 colours on 3-inch TFT LCD display. White balance can be adjusted in several steps (Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Tungsten light, Fluorescent light, or Manual for brave), as well as flash. BenQ T850 is capable of recoding movie in MPEG4 format which may have 30 frames per second and resolution of 640x480 pixels. To store your beautiful still and moving work you can use SD card with capacity of up to 8 GB or SDHC 16 GB.
T850 lives in the stainless steel casing available in black or red, and special attention is paid to user-friendliness. There are circular touch buttons on the LCD screen and almost all camera functions can be accessed by using one of three simple finger movements: tap, circle, swipe. Controls and menus on T850 are so there’s no need to navigate through multiple menus because of which we lost good scene too many times. The T850 keeps camera operations very simple and logical. Circular touch buttons with the size of the fingertip can be pulled up instantly on the extra-large screen. In addition to that, the T850 features a Quick Bar that gives users even faster access to vast majority of all functions and users can add three of their favourite functions to the Quick Bar.
Users can easily view photos with three types of finger motions on the screen. To reset the focal point, you must simply tap the preferred spot on the screen, and the T850 will re-centre and automatically refocus the image. To enlarge a specific portion of the image, draw a circle around the location with your fingertip. The T850 will instantly perform a 12x zoom to the circled area. While reviewing pictures, swipe a finger right to left across the screen to see the next picture; swipe left to right to see the previous image. When playing video or audio content, users can tap the playback bar forward thus eliminating the hassles of restarting the content from the beginning every time.
The new T850 is packed with an array of features for picture-perfect results. ISO 1600 lets users take pictures in dim lighting, “Z Lighting†enables users to adjust the image’s lighting after the photo has already been taken, and “Smile Catch†mode captures every elusive smile by automatically shooting in rapid succession. Pictures are clear and well-defined thanks to Super Shake-Free technology and Auto Face Tracking which can fine-tune up to nine faces in one frame, very useful feature for scenes with many people. The T850 has 30 preset modes ranging from standard auto and video to more exact settings such as “Museum,†“Party,†“Beach†and “Fireworks.†■
