In 2001, Mr. Warwick was appointed President and CEO of Gulf Indonesia Resources and in 2002 became President of ConocoPhillips Indonesia. Between 2004 and 2006, he was ConocoPhillips’ President Middle East and North Africa.
Mr. Warwick was ConocoPhillips’ President of Europe and West Africa (2006 – 2009), President UK and Africa (2009-2012), and in 2012, he was appointed Executive Vice President of Talisman Energy until the sale to Repsol S.A where he became Executive Director.
Mr. Warwick is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects, the Welding Institute and the Energy Institute. He has completed a Senior Executive Programme at the London Business School and the UK Cabinet Office Top Management Programme.
Mr. Warwick has held various board positions including with the Indonesia Petroleum Association, PT TransgasIndo, Oil and Gas UK, Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited, various joint venture companies including Qatar Gas 3 and 4, the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad and Tobago and internal companies in various global jurisdictions for Talisman and ConocoPhillips.
Mr. Warwick completed a Master of Science degree at the Cranfield Institute of Technology in 1978, and became a Chartered Engineer in 1982.
The company announced the appointment of Dan Jorgensen to the Board as Finance Director.
Mr. Jorgensen, a chartered accountant, brings a wealth of experience with him to his new position, including nearly 15 yearsof working with international companies, with a particular focus on the resources sector.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Jorgensen was Finance Director of Northcote Energy Limited. In addition to Northcote, he has experience from senior management positions with a number of listed international resource companies. Between 2004 and 2011, he worked for BDO LLP in their Natural Resources team advising a large number of international AIM Companies. ■
