Bank of America: Geri Thomas state president of Georgia market

Atlanta, Ga., USA - September 17, 2009, Atlanta, Ga., USA - Bank of America announced that Geri Thomas was named state president of Georgia and Atlanta market president. She will also continue in her role as diversity and inclusion executive as well as Consumer and Small Business Banking staffing executive.

Ms. Thomas began her career with Bank of America in 1970 in consumer banking support and has been the senior staffing executive responsible for staffing activities in support of the Bank of America Global Consumer and Small Business Bank since 2001. In 2009 Ms. Thomas was inducted as a member of the prestigious Executive Leadership Council. She is currently a member of the State of Georgia Personnel Board, which provides policy direction to the State Merit System of Personnel Administration.
