Barclays strengthens its global financial institutions team

London, United Kingdom - June 7, 2012, London, United Kingdom - Barclays announced that it has appointed John Rodriguez as relationship director within its financial institutions team, with responsibility for supporting Latin American financial institutions.

Mr. Rodriguez joins Barclays from HSBC where he was Senior Vice President, Global Transaction Banking responsible for supporting financial institution clients across the US, LatAm and Caribbean. Prior to joining HSBC, he held Senior Vice President roles at Wells Fargo and Wachovia Bank. Mr. Rodriguez has extensive experience working throughout Latin America supporting financial institutions and corporate clients with their transaction banking requirements.
