Benefitfocus CFO Dennis B. Story resigns

Charleston, S.C., USA - August 2, 2016, Charleston, S.C., USA - Benefitfocus, a provider of cloud-based benefits management software, announced that Dennis B. Story, its chief financial officer, has resigned.

Mr. Story joined Benefitfocus as Chief Financial Officer in July 2016. He brings over 30 years of financial leadership experience in both the public and private sectors for the financial services and logistics industries.

Previously, Mr. Story served as executive vice president and CFO of Manhattan Associates.

Prior to Manhattan Associates, he held executive leadership roles for organizations in the financial services and logistics industries, including Certegy, NewRoads, and Equifax.

Mr. Story holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kennesaw State University where he serves as a foundation board trustee.

Raymond August, President and Chief Operating Officer, will serve as the Company’s principal financial and accounting officer.

Mr. August joined Benefitfocus in 2014 and oversees operational functions, sales and customer support efforts.

His strong operational background is well documented, having most recently served as the General Manager for the Financial Services division of the Computer Sciences Corp.

In addition, Mr. August previously held a management position at PricewaterhouseCoopers and earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
