Chairman Peter W. G. Tom steps down from Leaf Clean Energy

George Town, Cayman Islands - April 11, 2014, George Town, Cayman Islands - Leaf Clean Energy Company, a renewable energy and sustainable technology investment firm, announced that Mark Lerdal assumed the role of chairman and Peter W. G. Tom stepped down from the board.

Mr. Lerdal is a partner in MP2 Capital, LLC, a company organized to develop, finance, own and operate photovoltaic projects throughout North America. He has been involved in energy development and finance for more than 25 years.

Mr. Tom is currently executive chairman of Breedon Aggregates Limited. He was formerly chief executive of Aggregate Industries plc, which he built into a major international group before negotiating its sale to Swiss building materials company Holcim.
