Fonterra NZ Milk Products managing director Gary Romano resigns

Mount Waverley, Australia - August 14, 2013, Mount Waverley, Australia - Fonterra, a multinational dairy company, announced that Gary Romano has resigned from his role of managing director NZ Milk Products.




Mr. Romano joined New Zealand's dairy industry in 1997 with the New Zealand Dairy Group. Before this, he had worked for Alcoa of Australia and The Boston Consulting Group. Following the formation of Fonterra, he was seconded to Dairy Partners of America, a joint venture between Nestle and Fonterra, to leverage his experience in supply chain management and manufacturing.

The company also announced that its Chief Executive Theo Spierings will assume interim responsibility for the day-to-day operations of NZ Milk Products.
