Globe CEO Mark Sumich steps down

Perth, Australia - Globe Metals & Mining Limited advises that Mark Sumich has stepped down from his role as managing director and chief executive officer of the company and as a director, effective immediately.

Mr. Sumich has been Managing Director of Globe Metals & Mining Limited (formerly Globe Uranium Limited) since March 2006.

His Professional advisory experience includes corporate and securities law in the Perth office of Clayton Utz., a law firm, corporate finance with PricewaterhouseCoopers and more recently financial consulting to some of Australia's largest financial services organisations, National Australia Bank and Common wealth Bank of Australia.

Mr. Sumich served as the Executive Chairman of Globe Metals & Mining Limited from October 1, 2009 to April 15, 2011 and serves as its Director.

Mr. Sumich serves as a Director of Globe Uranium Limited.

Fergus Jockel has been appointed as Acting CEO until the Company has appointed a new Managing Director/CEO.
