ICTS Europe Holdings BV’s new Supervisory Board consists of the following members:
Secretary Norman Y. Mineta, former US Secretary of Commerce and US Secretary of Transportation is vice chairman of Hill & Knowlton, a global public relations company based in its Washington, DC office. Secretary Mineta was a member of the US Congress for over twenty years, after which he served in the Cabinets of both Republican and Democratic presidents. He was appointed Secretary of Commerce in the cabinet of President Clinton in 2000. In 2001 he was appointed the Secretary of Transportation by President George W. Bush in 2001. Following the terrorist acts of September 11, 2001, Secretary Mineta guided the creation of the Transportation Security Administration, an agency with more than 65,000 employees, and the largest mobilization of a new federal agency since World War II. In July 2006 he resigned to join Hill & Knowlton.
Mr. Robert J. Aaronson is a well-known aviation executive who has had significant international experience over the past thirty years dealing with the airport business from every perspective. He held the position of Director General of Airports Council International from 2002 to 2008. Before that he has had direct responsibility for the management and development of six major US airports. These include John F. Kennedy International Airport, La Guardia Airport and Newark International Airport. His tenure in New York from 1981 to 1989 was preceded by service in the US Government as the top official in the Federal Aviation Administration responsible for nationwide airport standards, safety and development. From 1989 to 1992, Mr. Aaronson was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Air Transport Association of America (ATA), the trade group of the major North American passenger and cargo airlines. In 1993, he became Executive Vice President and General Manager of Lockheed Air Terminal – which became Airport Group International (AGI) and was one of the first firms engaged in worldwide airport development and operations.
Mr. G.N.G. Wirken has worked as financial officer in various industry sectors for over 30 years. Educated as a Chartered Accountant in Holland and at the London Business School in business administration, he served as Member of the Management Board and CFO of Ballast Nedam N.V. (construction) for 16 years until 2003. He is a member of numerous supervisory boards. He serves as chairman at Batenburg Beheer N.V., (a stock-listed company), he is member and chairman of the audit committee of Bauer A.G. (Germany, stock-listed), Chairman Egeria Investments B.V., Chairman of Winters Bouw- en Ontwikkeling B.V., Chairman Vendor Holding Tilburg B.V., Vice- chairman Rabobank Breda, Chairman Nibo N.V., Chairman Holonite B.V., Member Board of the Rabobank Pension Fund) as well as being the CEO of Valkrust Consultancy BV (corporate finance and strategy consultancy).
