Marcus Robinson new president and CEO of Magnolia State Bank

Bay Springs, Ms., USA - September 15, 2009, Bay Springs, Ms., USA - Magnolia State Bank announced that Marcus Robinson has been named president and chief executive officer of the bank.



In addition to serving as president and CEO, Mr. Robinson has been named to the bank's board of directors. Magnolia State Bank attended Jones County Junior College, received a degree in banking and finance from Mississippi State University and his MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi. Magnolia State Bank also graduated from the Stonier School of Banking at The University of Delaware. Magnolia State Bank started his career with Deposit Guaranty National Bank in 1984 as a credit analyst and later became a loan officer and senior lender for the Jackson, Hattiesburg and Meridian locations.
