NorthWestern Energy appoints Heather H. Grahame new vice president

Butte, Mt., USA - May 24, 2010, Butte, Mt., USA - NorthWestern Energy announced that Heather H. Grahame will join the company as vice president and general counsel, effective August 2.

Ms. Grahame has more than 26 years of legal experience, 20 years of which has focused on public utility law.

Prior to joining NorthWestern, Ms. Grahame was a veteran partner in Dorsey & Whitney, LLP, where she co-chaired its Telecommunications practice.

Ms. Grahame, who currently resides in Anchorage, Alaska, has been recognized repeatedly as a leading attorney in the United States.

She is the author of numerous presentations and articles covering a range of topics from climate change to shifts in national policy.
