OTKRITIE appoints several senior executives

Moscow, Russia - October 8, 2010, Moscow, Russia - OTKRITIE, a bank, announces that it makes additional hires in its investment banking business in London and Moscow.

Sunil Joshi has been appointed Managing Director, Head of London Equities of OTKRITIE. Mr. Joshi was previously Head of Equity Trading at Renaissance Capital and prior to that he spent twelve years at Credit Suisse where he was Head of EEMEA Equity Trading.

Berthold Maier has been appointed Director of Equity Sales of OTKRITIE, based in London. Mr. Maier was previously Director of International Equity Sales at Renaissance Capital. Prior to that, Mr. Maier spent ten years on the buy-side as a long-short equity portfolio manager for BlueCrest Capital, Griffin Capital and Generali, with a focus on the EMEA regions.

Vinay Ruparelia has been appointed Director of Equity Sales of OTKRITIE, based in London. Mr. Ruparelia was previously Vice President of International Equity Sales at Renaissance Capital. Prior to that, Mr. Ruparelia spent six years working in Equity Capital markets covering Emerging Markets at both Morgan Stanley and Dresdner bank.

OTKRITIE continues to build out its central office in Moscow with senior professionals.

Richard Betson has joined OTKRITIE as Director of Equity Sales-Trading. Before joining OTKRITIE, Richard held a similar position at Renaissance Capital.

In addition, Tom Mundy has been appointed as Chief Equity Strategist of OTKRITIE. From 2006-2010 Mundy worked as strategist at Renaissance Capital. Prior to this, from 2004-2007, he was employed at Wermuth Asset Mgmt, also as strategist.
