Renaissance Capital: John Hyman chairman and CEO, Igor Vayn CEO

Moscow, Russia - Renaissance Capital, an investment bank, has appointed John Hyman as chairman and chief executive officer and Igor Vayn as chief executive officer.

Mr. Hyman joined Renaissance Capital in 2011. Based in Moscow, he is responsible for driving Renaissance Capital’s Investment Banking and Financing business across its key regions of Russia, the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe and Africa.

A 16-year veteran of Morgan Stanley, where he was Co-Head of Global Capital Markets, Mr. Hyman oversaw all the bank’s equity transactions in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, and served on its global management committee.

Following his work at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Hyman was a partner at a major London hedge fund.

Mr. Vayn joins Renaissance Capital from Otkritie Capital, where he served as CEO from 2011.

In 2007-2010, he was Head of Equity Operations at Renaissance Capital.
