Richard A. Weeks joins SSH Communications Security as president for Americas

Helsinki, Finland - December 19, 2012, Helsinki, Finland - SSH Communications Security, an inventor of the secure shell protocol, announced the appointment of Richard A. Weeks as president of the Americas.

Mr. Weeks brings more than 25 years of broad IT technology business development and sales experience to the position. Prior to joining SSH, he was vice president of business and channel development at Cyber-Ark Software where he was responsible for Americas resellers, global technology relationships and monetized strategic alliances, including federal integrators and "Big Four" firms.

Mr. Weeks has held positions of increasing responsibility in IT operations, network engineering, direct and channel sales and business development for groundbreaking firms such as Proteon, 3Com, Fidelity Investments, Top Layer Networks, Aelita Software and Quest Software. In these roles, Weeks focused on enterprise solutions servicing the emerging governance, risk and compliance (GRC), audit and cybersecurity software markets.
