Johannesburg, South Africa - June 9, 2015, Johannesburg, South Africa - Sasol announced that its president and CEO, David Constable, has decided not to extend his contract of employment with the company, which expires on May 31, 2016.

With the board´s support, Mr Constable initiated an extensive business performance enhancement programme, and drove the Company´s growth ambitions in Southern Africa and North America. To support Sasol´s mega-projects, the board has agreed that a special advisory services agreement be entered into with Mr. Constable for the 2017 financial year.
Mr. Constable has been the Chief Executive Officer of Sasol Ltd. since July 1, 2011 and serves as its President. Mr. Constable served as Group President of Project Operations at Fluor Corporation from March 2009 to 2011. He has portfolio responsibility for Fluor's business interests in China and for its Project Execution Services group. He served as Group President of Power at Fluor Corporation from October 2005 to March 2009 and was responsible for its activities in the global fossil-fueled generation industry.
He joined Fluor in 1982. He served as a Senior Vice President of Sales for Energy & Chemicals of Fluor from 2003 to 2005, President of Operations & Maintenance and Telecommunications business line from 2000 to 2003. During his tenure with Fluor, Mr. Constable has led two other businesses and had management roles in both Operations and Sales in Canada, the United States, South America and Europe.
He also held the positions of Vice President of Fluor's Europe, Africa & Middle East region; Executive Director for the hydrocarbon industry in North America and the mining industry in South America. He has been a Director of ABB Ltd. since April 30, 2015. Mr. Constable has been an Executive Director of Sasol Ltd. since July 1, 2011.
Active in a variety of professional and civic organizations, Mr. Constable is a Member of the American Petroleum Institute, the Institute of Petroleum, the United States Energy Association and sits on the board of the US-China Business Council, Inc. He serves as Member of the Fluor's Executive Development Board and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Fluor Foundation. ■
