Milan, Italy - April 14, 2014, Milan, Italy - Telecom Italia Media's board of directors has confirmed that Severino Salvemini continue in the role of executive chairman.

Since April 8, 2011 Mr. Salvemini has been Chairman of Telecom Italia Media. Since June 28, 2012 he has been in charge for the strategic management and the overall governance of the Telecom Italia Media Group, as well as for the management of extraordinary transactions and the internal control system.
Between 1997 and 2000 Mr. Salvemini was Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Bocconi University responsible for international relations and extra-curricular activities; between 1999 and 2010 he was Director of the Degree Course in Economics for the Arts, Culture and Communication at the Bocconi University of Milan; between 2003 and 2006 he was President of the Business Administration School of Bocconi University.
Mr. Salvemini is currently Full Professor of Business Administration at the Bocconi University, Milan, and visiting professor at HEC Paris. During his professional career he was Chairman of Magnolia TV, Mikado S.p.A. and Film Investimenti Piemonte, as well as a Director of Banca Popolare di Milano, and Milan's La Scala Theatre, and Cinecitta Holding S.p.A..
Mr. Salvemini was also Chairman of Istituto Luce S.p.A., Gruppo Saiag S.p.A., the Venice Biennale, Cinemeccanica S.p.A., Aurora Assicurazioni S.p.A., Fondazione Unicredito, Lottomatica S.p.A., Mediacontech S.p.A., Inpartners S.p.A.-Sviluppo Immobiliare and Cargo Italia S.p.A.. He is currently Director of DeA Capital S.p.A..
Mr. Salvemini has been Vice President of NED Community since 2007, and a member of the Ethics and Disciplinary Committee of AGIS-Associazione Generale dell’Industria e dello Spettacolo (since 1997). He is also Chairman of the Jury for the Enzo Baldoni journalism award, a member of the Scientific Committee of the Milan Triennale and a member of the Scientific Committee of Hangar Bicocca.
Mr. Salvemini is a member of the editorial team of the management studies journal "Economia e Management" and of the Scientific Committee of the International Journal of Arts Management. ■
