Singapore National University Hospital appointed Joe Sim as CEO

Singapore - March 1, 2009, Singapore - The National University Hospital has appointed Joe Sim as its new chief executive officer, effective March 1.

Mr. Sim had been acting CEO since August last year, on top of his position as chief operating officer (COO) which he has held since June 2006. Mr. Sim currently oversees the strategic planning and operations of the 960-bed tertiary hospital, including expanding its infrastructure to cater to increasing healthcare needs.

The former Singapore administrative service officer previously held various posts in organisations including the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defence.
