Tokyo, Japan - October 31, 2014, Tokyo, Japan - Sony Corporation announced that Hiroki Totoki will take over Sony Mobile Communications, effective November 16, 2014.

Mr. Totoki has been Corporate Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Strategy, Corporate Development and Transformation at Sony Corporation since December 1, 2013.
Mr. Totoki serves as Deputy President and Chief Financial Officer of So-net Corporation.
He serves as an Executive Vice President of So-net Entertainment Corporation and has been its Senior Executive Officer since July 1, 2010.
He serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer at AGGP Holdings, Inc. He served as Chief Executive Officer of SONY Bank. He served as President of So-net Entertainment Corporation.
He served as an Executive Officer of ENIGMO Inc. He serves as a Non-Executive Director of So-net Corporation.
Mr. Totoki has been an External Director of ENIGMO Inc. since April 2006.
He has been a Director of So-net Entertainment Corporation since June 1, 2008. Mr. Totoki serves as an External Board Member of Sony Bank.
He serves as a Director of Chorokbaem Media Co., Ltd. He served as a Director of Dena Co., Ltd.
Mr. Totoki graduated from Waseda University, Japan, majored in Business Administration.
He replaces Kunimasa Suzuki, who will become the executive vice president of Sony Entertainment.
Mr. Suzuki was appointed President and CEO of Sony Mobile Communications on 16th May 2012.
In April 2012, he was appointed Corporate Executive Officer, EVP, Sony Corporation, in charge of Sony’s PC business, Mobile Business, UX (User Experience), Product Strategy and Creative Platform.
Mr. Suzuki originally joined Sony Corporation in 1984 and has held a variety of executive positions at the company including leadership roles in the VAIO Business Group, Sony Computer Entertainment, Sony Electronics Inc, and Sony’s Consumer Products Group and Business Strategy Group.
From April 2011 to April 2012, Mr. Suzuki held the position of Deputy President of the Consumer Products and Services Group (CPSG) as well as President of the VAIO and Mobile Business Group, CPSG, Sony Corporation.
From July 2009 to April 2012, Mr. Suzuki held the position of Deputy President, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
In April 2009 he was appointed SVP, Corporate Executive, Sony Corporation and in the same year held the position of Deputy President of Networked Products and Services Group (NPSG), Sony Corporation and President of VAIO Business Group, NPSG, Sony Corporation.
In April 2008 he was appointed EVP, Sony Electronics Inc.
Mr. Suzuki gained considerable experience during the period 2005 to 2007 in a number of senior roles, including Deputy President, VAIO Business Group, Sony Corporation in 2006, and General Manager, Consumer Products Group Integrated Products and Business Strategy, Sony Corporation in 2007.
Mr. Suzuki has also held international posts for Sony in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia) and South America (Argentina). ■
