Timothy Y. Chen resigns as Telstra director

Melbourne, Australia - October 8, 2012, Melbourne, Australia - Telstra, a telecommunications company, announced that Timothy Y. Chen has resigned as a non executive director.

Mr. Chen served at a director since April 2012. He is a partner with international private equity firm GL Capital Group.

Mr. Chen was chief executive officer for National Basketball Association China, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft and regional CEO, Corporate Vice President for Motorola and Chairman and President of Motorola China Electronics, and chief executive officer of 21CN Cybernet.

Mr. Chen spent nine years at AT&T Bell Laboratories in the United States.

He is a Director of Sinopac Financial Group, E-Ink Group, and Longmaster Information & Technology.
