Everyday object can be transformed into something totally unexpected if you give them to good designers to play with them. Here are some great examples.

Once the dinner is over, take away the dishes from the Fusion Table, slide back the table top and a pool table is right in front of you. This European design, available in black, white, stainless or custom, will elevate your dinner parties without question. All the billiards pieces fit away neatly under the table, your guests won't even know what you're planning for the after meal entertainment. There are also custom tables and a limited Veuve Clicquot edition of which only 99 were made. This is an excellent idea, very skillfully crafted.
Codalangi Design Studio made the Ring Desk with a very nice feature: a built in lamp with a solid wood shade. The matching tabletop is veneered ash with a matt lacquer surface to stand up to hard work. The metallic parts are powder-coated aluminum in a soft white finish. But it's the lampshade that makes this piece. Although it's a simplistic piece, it's clearly design-led. There's a drawer to tuck away all your cords, and light over the work surface is where you need it. Not just another pretty face, but very practical.
Greg Klassen is a woodworker that created a very unusal but very nice table. The meandering natural curvatures facing each other towards are the center of the table. The living edges are made to create a support for a tinted blue glass sheet that will span the two slabs, creating one continuous surface. Voids are also treated the same way and have the appearance of small ponds or lakes within the wood top. Book matched slabs can be used to create a similar graining on either side of the glass river and the table tops can be rectangular, square or round.
With multiple layers of stacked glass and wooden slices, Duffy London has built the Abyss Table, replicating the dramatic depths of an indigo ocean. The design creates a geological cross-section of the sea, completing the table as a 3-dimensional model of a geological map. This is a very unusual piece for which you may think it would fit the best in the modern space but it can also be a nice addition to your more traditionally designed office where it will be the focal point with a touch of unexpected creativity.
With the kitchen folding table you can change its figuration extensively. You will have the access to triangle boxes. You can replace them to opposite site of the table. Right and left table sides are food drawers. Drawer covers can be turned up-down and used as preparation boards. Cutting food will be removed into lower box accurately. Transparent plastic was used for some parts of the table. The user can watch the content under the cover of the drawers. The quantity of functional modules can be different from two to four items. ■
