If you are living in Washington, D.C. or just have a plan to spend a few days visiting it, some of those days in May the cult of Hemingway and Che Guevara is coming to the city with the opening of Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar located at the corner of 9th & H Streets in Penn Quarter. All you need is to make a call, check the opening day, call you friends after that and spend a marvelous evening listening hot salsa rhytm and enjoying Cuba flavours. People who designed each of Cuba Libre restaurant did a fantastic job this time too.

They incorporated the traditional Cuban architecture (a blend of everything from Neo-Classical style to Art Deco) in the restaurant, and sucessfuly created little Cuba at your doorsteps. Chef partner Guillermo Pernot, "America's Best Chef" by Esquire Magazine, is a person in charge for fireworks of tastes and smells, while DJ will give his best to heat up the atmosphere with vibrant Latin rhythms. Choose between 15 varieties of Mojito and 75 flavoured varieties of favourite Cuban drink rum and have a wonderful evening.

On May 28th, sharp at noon, Inverleith Park in Edinburg will be the most vibrant place in the city for Taste of Edinburgh is back to announce new summer season. For the two days one of the most picturesque city in Europe will celebrate Scottish food and drinks.

The new entries for this year's establishment of Taste of Edinburgh that will join some of the top names in cuisine in the capital are: a traditional Scottish restaurant Amber, Cucina from 5-star boutique Hotel Missoni, Hanam’s with its authentic Kurdish and Middle Eastern cuisine (one of the five best Kurdish & Middle Eastern restaurants in the UK by The Telegraph), Scottish Café and Restaurant and a modern bistro Tony’s Table. Taste of Edinburgh is divided in two sessions a day, booking fee is charged per ticket and a transaction fee per order. Big players in food industry, like Electrolux, will join the party and you will be able to stroll from one stall to another and shop until you drop.
