Munich, Germany - April 30, 2008, Munich, Germany - The supervisory board of Siemens AG has appointed Jim Reid-Anderson Member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG, effective May 1, 2008.

Mr. Reid-Anderson is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and holds a degree with honors from the University of Birmingham in England. Mr. Reid-Anderson held various financial and operations positions of increasing responsibility for Wilson Sporting Goods, Pepsico, Inc., Grand Metropolitan PLC and Mobil Oil Corporation, with roles based in Europe, Asia and North America. Mr. Reid-Anderson was Chairman, President and CEO for Dade Behring Inc. Mr. Reid-Anderson joined Dade Behring in 1996 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and became Chief Administrative Officer and CFO in September 1997. In April 1999, Mr. Reid-Anderson was promoted to the role of President and Chief Operating Officer and then CEO in September 2000.
